Constable tries to end life over transfer

MUMBAI: A constable, V L Shermakhe (48), with the SRPF group (Aurangabad), who was stationed at Santa Cruz police station, slit his neck and wrists after his senior decided to transfer him.V L Shermakhe (48) is recuperating at Asha Parekh Hospital in Santa Cruz (W).
The officer decided to transfer Shermakhe after his team complained about him.The SRPF group was diverted to Mumbai to help the city police after the blasts along with his other team members earlier.His team members had complained about him to seniors
He lost his mobile charger there. After the charger was found in Shermakhe's bag and his team member had argument with him for troubling others. The group member also complaint their seniors about it was shifted to Santa Cruz after there were complaints about him.where his other team members were stationed.
Shermakhe's seniors decided to send him back to Aurangabad as they were unhappy with his conduct. He was upset with the decision.
